+------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | | | Dhananjaya D R @/logs @/software @/resume @/contact | | | +------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Chronicles of an Eclectic Life ________________________________________________________________________________ Greetings ________________________________________________________________________________ A greeting is a thing we do or say when we want to let someone else know that, for better or for worse. It’s also a nice way or a mean way to let someone know that you cared in some way that they’re here. Whether you continue to feel that way depends on how the person you greeted responds to the greeting. Nice or mean depends on how you point your finger and which finger you used or if any fingers are involved. Usually the more fingers are involved, the friendlier the greeting. A finger is sometimes considered rude or mean, as is two if you’re showing the butts of your fingers but three can be the number of coffee/beers you want at the table, four is even better and one more gets you a high-five. Ora slap, which results in what I shall call the Schrodinger’s five. It is both a high-five and at the same time a slap, but you don’t know which until felt. Farming time ________________________________________________________________________________ I keep running out of time a lot. I always try to find some wherever I can, but it’s very good at hiding in places like work and the web. I thought I could find some time on the web, but sometimes I didn’t have time to find time. There were times where I tried to make time, but I couldn’t find time to get the ingredients. Looking on the web for ingredients was leading to more and more lost time. It evaporates quickly like pouring alcohol on a hot pan. Alcohol leads to a lot of lost time too, but some people enjoy losing time like that. I had a beer the other day. It didn’t taste that great and my head spun. Beer is stupid. I then tried to grow some time, but that involved using more time which I couldn’t find much of in the first place. Things ________________________________________________________________________________ If we can think of it, it’s probably a thing. If it’s not a thing, then by thinking about it, it probably became a thing. A thing can be a thing just by being thought of. Things are weird that way. Everything is a thing at one time or another. Do things that were ever stop being things? Probably. But then thinking about the thing not being a thing makes it a thing again. So probably not. I wonder if there was a time when things didn’t exist. Was there anyone around to think about things before things existed? Did things come into existence because they thought of them? Are we thinking things into the past by thinking about things that were in the present? Are we things? That’s pretty messed up. | \_ /; `\~--.._ //' `//////\ \\/;' ~/////\~\`)' `~' | ;'_\'\ /~/ '" "' `\/' ________________________________________________________________________________
